Taking someone’s photograph is a special honour as they open themselves up to you, allowing you to capture a side of themselves that only really good friends get to see. So, my last shoot with Caren, Gus and Gabi was mixed with sadness as they were leaving Switzerland for California.
With an apartment full of boxes, the family had decamped to the Grand Hôtel du Lac. The weather forced us inside but the hotel was a very festive setting and we managed to find a few quiet spots.

Dear Caren, Gus and Gabi, I wish you every joy and happiness in your new life. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special journey this year.
