The clouds were lying low in the mountains but the sun’s heat was breaking through. Valérie and Grég’s love of the outdoors was reflected in every detail of their day, starting with Valérie’s gorgeous dress with it’s flecks of green mirroring the long grass on the hillside.
Valérie and Grég opted for a first look at a gorgeous shady picnic spot above the Sarine and saw each other for the first time watched only by the birds (and a couple of camera lenses!). Every aspect of the couple’s day had a personal element with a highlight of their church service being the delivery of the rings by parachute! And they promised themselves to one another in the church gardens, mountains towering above.
An apéro at Le Chamaveau in a quiet forest glade, full of delicious nibbles was the perfect way to while away a midsummer’s evening. The night ended up on the Col des Mosses, looking over the slopes that Grég pistes in the winter.
Valérie & Grég, thank you for letting me tell your story and I wish you laughter and love for many midsummer’s to come.
A huge thank you also to Jolie Zocchi of Jolies Foto for shooting with me on the day and giving the couple some wonderfully creative shots.
