Taoyi and Christoph are living proof that love knows no boundaries. While Christoph is Swiss German, Taoyi is Chinese and they first met online where love blossomed. On Saturday they wed in the Klosterkirche Wettingen.
At the end of August we met up for a pre-wedding shoot – not really an engagement session as their celebrations began a while ago with friends and family in China. While we explored the gardens of the old monastery we chatted about the wedding, especially their timeline. I always ask couples what is the most important thing they want from their photographs so that I can be 100% sure I capture it. Because I am there from the preparations to the first dance, I am able to tell a wonderful story but I would hate to miss that one shot a couple have always dreamed of having. For Taoyi and Christoph the images of the two of them together are really important, so we are taking time to do a First Look before the ceremony. The autumn light should give us soft beautiful images even in the middle of the day. Having chatted about it beforehand, we are all on the same page and it’s one of the reasons I like to get involved in the wedding planning as soon as I can. I will never change your day but I can advise you on how to get the most from your photography – making sure that we have enough time and light for the memories you want to capture.
I can’t wait to catch up with these two tomorrow, for what is going to be an amazing wedding day!
