Last summer I had the amazing opportunity to work with Charlotte from Silversatsuma Wedding Photography and two of her clients who were getting married at the Beau Rivage Palace Lausanne. The day started with a super relaxed makeup session in the Cinq Mondes spa and then we headed up into one of the hotel’s newest suites, where the lovely bride had her hair done – taking breaks to enjoy the view and wave at her family having breakfast in the garden. Brimming with excitement for her big day, all she wanted to do was dance around and jump on the bed!
The wedding ceremony took place at the Église de Poliez-Pittet followed by some couple shots and an apéro on the terrace of the Beau Rivage Palace. The couple’s friends decided to throw some of the traditional Swiss wedding games during the apéro, including a blind-folded groom being led around to find roses for his new wife.

As the sun set we headed inside to La Rotonde ballroom for a wonderful meal full of emotional speeches and great entertainment. I left them dancing away to the Macarena and expect it carried on all night!
