Investing in professional photography, whether it is for a wedding, family portraits or to commemorate a special occasion, can be a difficult decision. There are so many websites to look at and if you’re not sure exactly what you are looking for it can seem like an endless task. This is why I always ask my previous clients to write a few words about their experience with Emma Godfrey Photography, I hope that hearing directly from people who have had their photographs taken with me will help you to decide whether I am the right photographer for your family.
Vilde & Mathieu’s wedding took place in Vevey at the Grand Hôtel du Lac. They came over to Switzerland from Norway and we met for the first time on their pre-wedding session. They were looking for stunning couple photos as well as a journalistic record of the whole wedding day.
We were very lucky to find Emma for our wedding and even luckier to find out that she was available on our wedding day as it was her only date left for the summer! Destiny you say?
Emma is sweet, energetic and very professional. She has a special attention to details and know how to make you feel relax in front of the camera. The result is amazing! You get tons of beautiful pictures that are full of colors and make you feel that you have been modeling all your life.
She makes sure that everything is covered before-hand so you already know that you will get what you want and the only gentle directing she gives are for couple pictures before the ceremony and family pictures. Otherwise she manages to disappear in the background or foreground without missing a single photo opportunity! On our wedding day, she wore nice clothes that fitted perfectly with the colors of our wedding and flat shoes that wouldn’t make a sound – a real professional ninja photographer with style!
From the first contact to the day we got our album in the mail, she has been nothing but utterly professional and showed true care and passion! Emma has not only taken beautiful pictures, she has been able to capture the different emotions and atmosphere of our magic day. For that we will be forever grateful to her. Thanks a million!
Corinne & Michael’s wedding took place at the Château d’Oron. They were keen to capture the spirit of Switzerland in their photos and opted for both a first look and sunset couple photos. We also met up a few months later for a “Rock the Dress” session in the forest and some very romantic photographs.
I have to admit that I was at first a bit sceptical because of the terrible weather forecast on the day of our pre-wedding shoot, but now I am so happy to have these photos as they show the “real” Michael & Corinne… The photos completely cheered up a grey rainy working day and the colors are amazing!
I was away working when the wedding photos came through but we waited to watch them together – with hubby & bubbly. Thank you sooo much for bringing back these amazing memories!!! We’re completely amazed and can’t wait to get more of these gorgeous pictures…
The Thank You cards were gorgeous and we couldn’t wait to send them out to our friends and family. And we were speechless when we saw the gallery for the Rock the Dress session, in my email I wrote “Woohoo! Amazing!!!!!!!!!!! What a nice WE surprise! Thank you sooo much!”
Michael & I spent a nice evening yesterday going through our wedding album. It is absolutely fantastic, the pictures are glowing on these pages!!! We are extremely happy with it. Thank you so much for your nice assistance with everything, you’ve contributed a great part to making our wedding day one of the most unforgettable day of our lives.
Mélanie & Grégoire’s wedding took place at the Château de Coppet. Mélanie was pregnant and so it was really important that the day was relaxed and easy.
