I love receiving enquiries about wedding photography from international couples planning their destination wedding in Switzerland. It’s such a beautiful country and I love to share my awe for the Alps with my clients.
For Andrea and Fabian, Switzerland is a home from home, with Fabian’s family not far from where they plan to marry in Thyon. A little Swiss blood was a must for their engagement session in Villars-sur-Ollon as I dragged them around the stunning alpine fields of flowers. There was a moment when Andrea mentioned she might not want to be so adventurous in her wedding dress! But it was great fun for a relaxed e-session and I was so happy that they were up for a little clambering around. The storm clouds might have blocked off the view but I think we found a true bit of the Swiss mountains for them to take back to Ottowa.
The second stage of our shoot took us to the Chalet RoyAlp where we’d hoped to get a cocktail and relax on their luxurious terrace. Unfortunately we were a couple of days early for the summer season but still managed to find a spot for a quick board game.
Andrea and Fabian, I hope that you had a safe trip home to Canada and I’m already looking forward to you wedding next year, with Andrea’s incredible organization skills I am sure it will be a complete pleasure to work with you!
