Lifestyle baby photography

Little Henry was an adorable newborn baby but three months on, his smile can already make you melt. Just look at those gorgeous blue eyes! Due to the unpredictability of life, we had to do Henry’s newborn shoot without his dad so to make up for it we added in a three month family session and took lots of father and son images.

Daddy’s boy

It was captivating to watch Giulio interact with his son, finding ways to make him laugh and smile, making so many faces and silly noises that I’m sure his face must have hurt afterwards! I like to try to capture a slice of family life, so it was great to have suggestions for poses from dad: this is how we watch tv, he loves it when I do this…

Smiles for the ladies

As well as winning me over completely, Henry had so many smiles for his mum I can appreciate how hard it is going to be for her to go back to work. At least at the end of the day, there will be that little giggle and then the crumple before his cute little grin appears and makes everything so much better.

3 month baby photos

I’ve always tended to stray away from scheduling shoots at three months, preferring to wait until a baby can sit on their own, but little Henry has opened my eyes to this wonderful stage of baby development. It is the moment that he starts to really smile and giggle at you, when his curiosity can be seen in his big blue eyes and when his personality starts to really show. I can’t wait to see how much he’s changed again in a few weeks time for his 6 month shoot.
