Second Shooting
Occasionally I have the opportunity assist another wedding photographer and be their ‘second shooter’. This is a great way to refresh my eyes and take a step back from the main action, as well as giving their client extra images with a slightly different style.
Outdoor wedding
For Coralie and Gabriel’s gorgeous outdoor wedding in the Aubonne Arboretum I was second shooting with Colette Anderes. The whole day was outdoors in the sunshine and the guests had been instructed to wear hats which made for fabulous images!
The ceremony took place overlooking Lac Léman under an arch of flowers which reflected the colour clothing and headgear of the couple’s friends and family. Afterwards we took some time to shoot some couple’s photos in the Arboretum – one of my favourite places because it is so beautiful – and then the music began! Both Coralie and Gabriel are talented musicians and they serenaded each other with drums and flute. After the balloons were released the guests went in for dinner and Colette and I left them to party the night away.
