I don’t expect them to sit perfectly still, and you shouldn’t either. Instead, I capture their natural interactions – a gentle touch, a curious glance, or a quick cuddle with their new baby brother or sister.
Ava was wonderfully curious about her newborn brother. She reached out to hold his tiny toes, leaned in to give him a kiss, and proudly sat with Mum while cradling him in her lap. These moments happened quickly – often just seconds long – but that’s all we need. While you don’t see the wiggling, giggling, and wriggling behind the scenes, the photos show calm, connection, and love.
