As an engagement photographer, I believe that your pre-wedding session should be a beautiful, relaxed experience that celebrates your relationship. Every wedding collection I offer includes a romantic engagement photography session, designed not only to provide you with stunning images but also to help you feel completely at ease in front of the camera before your big day. I also offer couple’s photography sessions for couples at any stage in their relationship.These sessions typically last between one and a half to two hours and take place in a location of your choice—somewhere that holds special meaning to you as a couple.
Whether it’s a peaceful lakeside setting, a scenic mountaintop, or the cosy café where you had your first date, this is your opportunity to be yourselves in a relaxed and informal way. As your engagement photographer, I want to document your genuine connection and the quiet moments that make your love story unique. It’s not about forced poses or stiff smiles—just the two of you, being you.

Before the Session

Preparation is key to a smooth and enjoyable engagement shoot. I always encourage couples to think about what makes them feel most comfortable and connected. Do you have a shared hobby or tradition? Whether it’s hiking, reading in the park, or dancing in your kitchen, we can incorporate these meaningful details into your session. Including a shared activity can help you forget about the camera altogether and focus on each other.
Many brides choose to schedule their hair and makeup trial on the same day as the engagement session. It’s a fantastic way to feel extra confident and see how your look photographs ahead of the wedding. You’re also welcome to plan a wardrobe change during the session—perhaps start with a more formal outfit and switch to something casual and relaxed for variety.
Late afternoon or early evening, often referred to as the “golden hour,” is the ideal time for an engagement photography session. The soft, flattering light enhances every moment and creates that dreamy, romantic glow.

Booking and Payment

Booking your engagement photographer is simple and straightforward. Every full wedding collection I offer includes an engagement session at no extra charge. Once you’ve booked your wedding package, we’ll schedule your engagement shoot at a mutually convenient time and location. I’ll guide you through the planning process, offering tips on what to wear, choosing the best time of day, and finding a meaningful location if you need inspiration.
Payment for the wedding collection includes everything—there are no hidden fees or surprises when it comes to your engagement photos. You’ll know exactly what to expect from the beginning. Standalone couple’s sessions start at 800CHF.
