Fun Kids Photo Shoot in Crans Montana – Brothers Playing Together
Reem and her family have been visiting Crans Montana since she was a child. She reached out for a maternity shoot with her third baby and wanted to recreate photos from her previous pregnancies. Those images were taken on a beach, but we had the stunning mountains as our backdrop. I matched the poses and tones while keeping the spirit of the original shots.
As we walked to the location, I used the time to connect with the boys. It helped them relax and get comfortable before the main photos. We searched for fish in the lake, picked flowers for mum, and had a few joyful races. The boys were full of energy and laughter—perfect for a fun kids photo shoot. The whole family quickly adapted to my relaxed, natural style.
After the main shoot, we headed to the park where Reem played as a child. It was a reward for the boys and another chance for candid, playful moments.
Capturing Natural Moments
One of my favourite shots happened in a patch of soft forest light. I photographed dad with the boys and asked the kids to help make their parents laugh. They started pulling faces, running around, and climbed onto a tree stump to get a better view. Since it wasn’t big enough for both, they took turns—and every time one jumped off, he launched into the air. That sparked big smiles from mum.
I asked how high they could jump, and the competition began. The youngest hesitated at first, but when I asked if he wanted to try flying, he jumped with joy. It was a moment of pure play—exactly what a fun kids photo shoot is all about.
